Happy 4th of July!
I photographed this little girl this week and this is the first time her family will see these images. She is about to turn one years old any day now and the theme of her party will be 4th of July. I loved how the images turned out and I thought I would put them up just in time here for our national holiday to enjoy.
I will be taking some time off this weekend to spend with my family. I will be back to normal work hours on Tuesday. Just wanted to let my blog readers know in case I am not able to return your calls or e-mails as quickly as usual in the next few days.
Happy holidays everyone!!!

Outdoor Photo Session
I had a session outdoors with this sweet little man. I think he enjoyed a different change of scenery compared to my studio.
There were plenty of yummy tasting sticks and leafs to enjoy during this session.
If you reading this blog would like some beautiful outdoor portraits of your family please contact me to set up your session
(225 284-6354 Anna-Karin’s photography). Right now due to the very hot weather in S. Louisiana the sessions tends to take place either very early in the morning or early evening when the light is more cooperative.

Birthday Party!
Meet little A. He just graduated from my baby plan by throwing a little cake smash party at my studio.
This sweet little boy has truly been a joy to photograph. He has always been happy and really easy to work with.
I don’t think I have seen him sad once during his sessions in his first year.
Here Mr. A is enjoying a delicious tasty cake crated by Ashley Stephens a wonderful cake maker. If you are looking for a unique cake for your special event let me know and I will pass her contact info on to you.
If you reading my blog are interested in my plan please check my FAQ section on my website or contact me (Anna-Karin’ Photography 225-284-6354) for more information.

These Boots Were Made For Walking……
I have photographed this sweet little girl several times since she was two weeks old. She is now about 21 months old and is all of a sudden so grown. Little A and her family is moving out of state and it was great fun for me to have one more photo session with her before their big move.
I had just recently gotten a few more tutus to use in photo sessions and little A’s mom was up for trying them out. I brought this tutu to our session, and mom brought these cool boots. I love the color and how fancy they are!
Here is a sneak peek of little A. More to come for her family to see soon.
With that said, those of you that are waiting to view your photographs, please be patient I am trying to get them ready as fast as I can. The times until they are ready may take a little longer then you are used to. With my children on summer brake, even though they do have summer camp and other activities. My work schedule is adapted to their hours this summer and therefore I dont have as much time working on sessions in front of the computer like I normally do. Hopefully you agree when you do get to see the portraits that the wait was worth it!

Sweet Little Man
There has been many sessions with girls showcased lately on my blog. Just recently that trend seem to have change and now there are lot’s of boys on my schedule. Within the next week or so you will see more of my little boy clients posted on here.
Here is sweet W and his family. He was such a sweet little man, in a good mood the whole session. He was at that lovely happy age of four month old.
This family was referred to me by another great client of mine. If you are an existing client, I want to remind you that I have a great referral program. If you refer a friend to me as a new client, you will earn a complimentary print credit to use at a future session with me (Anna-Karin’s photography). I love getting referrals!

Take Me Out To The Ballgame……
This session was so much fun. Little C’s mom brought her dad’s beloved yankee’s baseball cap. It has definitely seen better days, but apparently it still is his favorite hat. So we had to document this next generation of big baseball fan just like dad.
So here is little C where it is as she is saying: “Take me out to the ballgame , buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks”….
Also, I recently found this lady that knits lovely hats. This is my new addition to hats. So much fun and girly!
Props can be fun sometimes, when used sparingly.

Birthday Girl!
I recently photographed this beautiful little girl. Her mother contacted me and wanted something different to document little H’s first birthday.
We choose to do an outdoor session and what a treat it was. Little H was so adorable and happy. Both mom & dad came along to the session and little H sure enjoyed having both of them there.
Even though it was hot and warm it was so worth it because little H charmed me big time and the end result was great. Little H enjoyed tasting quite a few leafs and sticks while we there, lol!
Here are just a few of the many keepers I captured that day.
Those of you reading my blog that are contemplating an out door session, now is the time to contact me to schedule your time. I am currently booking sessions for third week in July and on at this point. I have a few openings available before then.Call me (Anna-Karin) at (225)284-6354 to schedule your session. I look forward to hear from you!

New Little Girls
Here are two little girls that I recently got to photograph while they were both fresh and new.

One of them was so alert we finally had to wrap her up like a little baby burrito in order to get her to sleep. I guess she did not want to miss out on a party!
Here are just a few samples from each of their sessions, but I got many great ones!

Blue Angels
Well I promised I would share some photographs from my recent vacation. We went to Orange Beach for one week and it was lovely.
We had some great time at the beach and we even got to see the Blue Angels fly at the near by Pensacola National Aviation Museum.
Here are just a few from our trip. I cant wait to go back there again. Even though it is great to be back home and get a routine in our busy summer schedule.
Then a few from our youngest swimming lessons right before our vacation.

Super Mom!
I am so proud of this mama. She really wanted to capture the “newborn’ness” of her new little daughter. She lived about 3 hours away from me, but wanted to come here to get some beautiful portraits of her new little one.
Both she and her husband are in the armed forces and he was deployed at the moment. This super mom drove by her self with newborn baby to me in order to document this special time.So the distance did not stop her.
As you can see it was so worth it, I got many beautiful captures of her brand new little girl that was less then two weeks old at the time of our session.
Of course all my mom clients are super heroes for making it able to come to me in the early stages of their children’s life to have a photo session. I am very proud of how this determined mom made it possible all by her self. It sure paid off, I got many beautiful captures of her new little one. Here are just a few of them.
