If you are pregnant and are expecting a new little baby and would like some beautiful timeless portraits of the first newborn days, then a newborn session is a great fit for you. The best time to photograph a newborn baby is when they are in their first two weeks of life. This is because they are still so little and very cooperative at that stage. Once they become a couple of weeks old they tend to go through growth spurts where they want to “cluster feed” for long periods of time. This makes it hard to photograph because baby is hungry for a longer moments and is not as interested in letting us photograph them. So that is one of the reasons why I prefer to photograph the babies in their first two weeks of life.

It is best to set up your session time while you are still pregnant. This way we can guarantee that you will be able to fit your appointment in while the baby is still in that fast fleeting newborn stage. If your baby is already here please call as soon as possible. This way I will do my best to fit you in as soon as I can on my schedule.
