The super moon that appeared this past mid summer was very bright and very big compared to how the moon normally looks to us.
I took my children outside to show them and the moon was so much lower then normal. It was actually hard to see it clear, without being covered by leaves of all the trees in my neighborhood.
I managed to get a few, and this is the super moon as it appeared in South Louisiana on 22nd of June this year (2013).
