Here is a sweet little boy I have been meaning to share for a while. Little P is one of my babyplanners and this was from his eight month session.

He was doing so well sitting up and was all full of smiles!

This stage is one of my favorite to photograph as the babies often has not learned to crawl yet but are so happy to be able to sit up on their own and is very responsive during our session. Little P was a true little happy sunshine through out our session as you can see in these photographs.

He was very happy to have both mom and dad there with him during the time, as he enjoyed the playful time with them.

Birthday Boy with Big Blue Eyes

Here is a family I have had the opportunity to photograph several times in the past and I was thrilled to have the chance to work with them again.

This time it was time for little brother’s first birthday session. So to make the best of our session for the whole family, we decided that an outside family session would be fun. So here are just a few from our session, the main focus of the session was to capture little brother as a one year old.

Of course the lovely and involved big brother’s also had fun and enjoyed the outside feel where our session probably ended up to feel more like a playdate!

Many of you know that I am originally from Sweden. This past month I have been a slow blogger because I have been busy traveling in Europe and have not had as much internet time as I normally do when at home here in Baton Rouge. I will soon share some travel captures from the places we went, Ireland, Sweden and southern France and the UK were just part of our stops this time around.So with that, I thought today was a good time to share about another lovely Swedish family living here in the greater Baton Rouge area. Meet one of my newest baby plan members, little A and his family!

I have had the pleasure to work with little A and his family now for the past couple of months. When his mom contacted me for her maternity session it was a true joy to find out that she was also Swedish just like me. We have had lot’s of fun during both the maternity and newborn session catching up on our Swedish and even some “Swenglish” when we can’t remember the correct words in Swedish.

Here are just a few of the beautiful captures I got of the most adorable and cutest little Swede and his family (this esp since my own boys are not as little any more and can no longer claim that title lol) in South Louisiana!

If you are expecting a new little one and would like some beautiful and timeless captures of your new little baby, contact me ( Anna-Karin) to set up a time for your session. The best time to photograph your new baby is in the first two weeks when the baby is still very little and usually sleepy and very cooperative with the typical newborn poses. I tend to fill my schedule about three weeks in advance, so if you want to make sure you have your baby captured professionally during that special and fast fleeting newborn time, plan ahead and contact me to setup your session before your little one has been born. Then we will for sure fit you in during that special time. I may still be able to fit you in, but the flexibility in the available sessions is not guaranteed if your sessions is booked less then three weeks before the session date.

Here is a family I want to share that I have worked with in the past when big brother was around one years old. Now the family have also a little sisters and it was time for her first birthday and therefore it was now time for a photosession of their family again.

The family chose a plantation as location for their session and we were very lucky with beautiful and not to warm weather on the day of our session.

Little sister was so sweet and curious and had a fun time exploring around for our session.

Since the family originally is from Texas it was alot of fun that big brother’s favorite was to play cowboy and he even brought his big cowboy hat along to the session. I love it when clients bring things that really show their children’s personality well, as in the hat.

Here is a session I have been wanting to share for a while. This is little A and she is now such a big girl at three years old. I have photographed her since she was 6 months old and it has been so fun to see the changes she has gone through since then.

She was in a great mood and I think really enjoyed our outside session where she could play and pick flowers and have fun, while I captured her during those fun moments.
