Family Photo Session
I want to share some photographs from a family I recently photographed. We had a great session where little sister was very cooperative for a newborn photo session. I dont think I heard her cry one time during our session. (little) Big brother was a sweetie too with a smile on his face most the time. I got many great photographs, I know it will be hard for their parents to choose which ones to order!

Outdoor Family Portrait Sessions
The weather is starting to get nice again. Outside family portrait sessions are a favorite of mine. Our session time turn more into a play date, and we all have a great time.
These two families recently had their sessions at LSU Rural Life Museum. The weather was great and cooperative for both sessions.
The little guy, is a former baby planner of mine. I have photographed him since he was newborn and this was his 18 months old photo session. It was so much fun to see how much he had changed since our last session.
Enjoy these three handsome young fellas. They kept me busy, but it was fun!
If you reading this blog would like to schedule an outside session please contact me. My schedule is starting to fill up fast and if you want to take advantage of an outdoor photo session before the warm heat and humidity sets in, now is the time to schedule your session.

Moments with Mom
I want to share some beautiful photographs from a recent session with a new mother and her baby girl. It is exciting for me to capture these moments because I also was able to photograph little A’s parents wedding almost two years ago. The greatest part of being a professional photographer is being able to capture the joyous moments in the cycle of life.

Tutu Girl
I enjoyed photographing this happy little girl. She is about eight months and was getting ready to get around fast. She was so easy to work with though, a truly happy smiley little girl.
I got many beautiful images of her and some with her mom as well. Here are just a few of what her family ordered.
Enjoy pretty little J.

Baby Boys

Here are two young gentlemen I recently photographed. Their parents were good about making sure we had a photosession while still newborn and little.
I try to recommend to my clients that a newborn session is best in the first two weeks of baby’s life. There are many reasons, but a few are they are still sleepy and very cooperative. Also, at the two week mark many babies get baby acne that can take several weeks to pass. As a mother I can very much remember those first weeks with a new baby as very hectic. Adding a photo session to that busy schedule with a new little one, can often be over whelming. I do appreciate those of my clients that do make the effort to make sure we manage to have the newborn session within that time period. I promise you, it will be well worth it if you are able to schedule that newborn photo session within that time frame. I hear all the time from many of my clients when they contact me when baby is older for another session , as to how happy they were with me convincing them to do the session in the first few weeks of babys life.
So with that said, here are these very young and handsome little men!

Sneak Peak Time
I know many of you are eagerly awaiting to see your little ones photographs. They will soon be ready. With the resent Mardi Gras brake my children were off from school for two days , so I am basically two days behind on work due to that. I am trying to be as fast as I can to get them ready for you, meanwhile here is a sneakpeak from two sessions that are awaiting theirs. There will soon be a couple of more sneakpeaks from other sessions eagerly awaiting their photographs. Hopefully the wait will be worth it!
These two adorable little ladies were so charming. Who can resist a sweet little LSU cheerleader? Little C is looking so grown up while standing up between mom and dad’s hands.
Then we have precious little A, she is holding her head up so good while laying on her tummy. I loved her sweet little smile. She was most definitely flirting with my camera!
Both of these little girls are between four and five months old.

New Blog and New Changes
Lot’s of new exiting things are happening right now. One is that I have just upgraded my blog to a new one that is a little more user friendly for me.
I have included the previous blog posts from this year in this new blog. If you have my old blog address bookmarked you can still view the archives from previous posts there, but all new posts will be on this blog.
So here are two little sweeties I recently photographed. Little W is a sweet sweet girl that as first was a little shy but did warm up and I got some great captures from her session. I know she was happy to have both her mom and dad there during our session.
The other is handsome little D. He looks so grown up sitting by his parents feets. It will not be long before he can sit all by him self.
Both of these two are on my baby plan. Which is a great way to memorize their children’s first year milestones. If you are interested in learning more about my baby plan check out my FAQ section on my website.

Outdoor Maternity

A little while ago I had the opportunity to photograph this pretty lady and her family. She is expecting twins and has had a couple of rough moments with this pregnancy. She looked great and was getting ready to meet her new little twin girls soon. Big sister came along to the session as well and I got some good captures of just her as well.
This was a fun session for me because I usually do most of my maternity sessions in my studio, so this was great for me to do something different from what I normally do. I think we got some great memories captured. If you are pregnant and would like a session like this, feel free to contact me.
