Here is adorable little C. She is just so cute in that sailor dress!   I love how timeless it makes the photograph. This could have been photographed 50 years ago and still look like this. Except the colors of course…..

I had a great outdoor session with her and her parents. Little C was so good the whole session and enjoyed the bubbles the most.

For this session I have to admit, it was a challenge to get three young siblings, all three years and younger to look at the camera at the same time. We did have success with a few of them.

Here they are, cooperating and all! Such a beautiful little family.

Little sister is a sweet heart as well. She is not yet able to crawl and that makes for wonderful captures as she cant get away just yet,lol.

Here is a family I recently photographed. Little B was so good and was happy and alert for most the time of our session.

I actually had to turn off the AC at the studio in order to get it a little warm and her sleepy for some images. What ever it takes to get that perfect shot of a sleepy newborn baby!

Little B is also a new member of my babyplan.I look forward to photographing her milestones during her first year.

Here is sweet little J, one of the newest members of my baby plan. He was such a good baby and honestly slept pretty much the whole session. I have to say I don’t know what colors his eyes will be, as I never saw him awake.

His parents did so good to come to me in his first few weeks while the baby is very sleepy. Sleepy babies makes for great newborn pictures.

Then we will for sure find a good time to document this special sleeping stage that only last for the first few weeks. Guess all sleep deprived parents of a newborn can attest to that,lol!

The greater Baton Rouge area has for sure gotten it’s fair share of bad weather this past week. I think we could say we have had enough rain for this next month or so.

We had an unfortunate event happen at my house during the storm. We had a tree fall down on our house. One branch went right through the sliding backdoor and shattered glass everywhere.

This past couple of days I have been a little sidetracked from my normal work trying to deal with getting this mess taken care off. Still waiting for the tree removal company to come by and take care of the big huge tree. Although if you ask my oldest son he thinks we should keep the tree in the yard as it makes for fun tree climbing.

Luckily no one was hurt just damages to our house. My studio did fine during the storm so those of you scheduled for studio session we will do them as planned.

Also during the past few days my youngest son graduated from pre-k. He is such a big boy now and will start kindergarden this coming fall. So enjoy a photo of our recent graduate!!

I had such a fun time with this little boy and his family. This is the second time I had the opportunity to photograph handsome little J. He is now one years old and acting so big. Last time he was six month old.

We had a lovely outdoor plantation photo session. Little J really has a great sense of humor. I love the picture of him laughing and putting his hand up to his face. His grand daddy that came along to the session was making him have so much fun.

What a sweet boy little J is!

Here are two beautiful ladies I recently photographed for their maternity photographs. Both of them are expecting baby girls.

If you are pregnant and are considering a maternity photo session to document this special time of your life. The best time to schedule your session is around 34 weeks. This time you are nice and round but hopefully not about to have the baby just yet.

I enjoy maternity photo sessions. Most of my maternity clients come back to me for their newborn sessions. Since we have already had the chance to meet during their maternity session the newborn session usually goes very smoothly as we already know each other by then.

I want to wish all mothers a Happy Mother’s Day today!

Who ever you are and what stage in your life you are at, I hope you will have a nice relaxing day where you are able to take care of just your self and enjoy this special day.

Here is a beautiful water lily photograph for you that I photographed at a recent session at a plantation. It was so pretty and I wanted to remember the vibrant colors.

I am going to go and spend some time with my family and enjoy my two little boys today.

This sweet little girl had the most adorable little smile. She was about three month old and did real well in our session. Happy and content to be there.

It is a pleasure for me to share photographs of this little family. Big sister was one of my first baby planners when I started my baby plan. Now they are back with a new little brother in tow. It is so much fun to get to see how alike he is to his sister at this age.

He is such a handsome little man with a very contagious little smile.

Big sister is still as adorable as always. Except she is acting all grown up all of a sudden!
