Sweet Newborn BabyBoy
This sweet little boy came to me in my studio when he was only a few days old. He was so good during our session. He let me move him around in all kinds of positions.
It is fun to see how early a child will resemble their parents. Sweet little R def looks alot like his dad, I think he will even have the same haircolor!
If you are expecting a baby and would like some beautiful timeless newborn portraits in Baton Rouge. Please contact me (Anna-Karin 225-284-6354) to set up your session while you are still pregnant, so we can make sure we dont miss that fleeing newborn time. I prefer to photograph newborns within their first two weeks, as this time shows their newbornness the best and they are still cooperative to be moved into certain positions that older babies can not do.
I am currently booking for the end of August beginning of September right now.

Beautiful Mother & Daughter
I recently photographed this beautiful mother and her gorgeous baby daughter. It was a great session and I got so many great captures.
Sweet little W was so good an it will be hard for her parents to choose from all those great ones I got.
I love how mother and daughter are both wearing white in these portraits. So classic and timeless.

LSU Wedding
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure to photograph Nick and Jennifer’s beautiful wedding. Their wedding was held at the faculty club at LSU.
The day of their wedding we were suppose to have rain all day. Just a little bit before the wedding all the rain cleared up and we had perfect weather for a wedding celebration!
Here are just a few of my favorites from their wedding. So many great captures to choose from.
In true Louisiana style, they had a theme with fleur delyse. I tried to capture a few details of it. Nick’s shirt buttons, the beautiful etched champagne flutes and the detailed cake decorations.
Congratulations Nick and Jennifer!
Thanks for choosing me to capture your special day. Your photographs are now ready to view online.

Big Brother
I recently photographed this big brother and his new little brother. Big brother was such an easy going boy. He was so cooperative and when I was not including him in the session he sat calmly and played on the floor with my toys. Such a big boy and I was very impressed with what how good he was during our session.
Little brother was very handsome as well. Here he is my willing subject to try out one of my new hats for newborns.
Here is beautiful mom with her two boys.
On another note, I am now back to normal work hours. I went away with my family for a couple of days to celebrate my inlaws 50th wedding anniversary. We went to see them in the mountains in TN. It was very nice to enjoy some cooler temperatures compared to what we are used to here in the warm deep south during this time of the year.

Happy 4th of July!
I photographed this little girl this week and this is the first time her family will see these images. She is about to turn one years old any day now and the theme of her party will be 4th of July. I loved how the images turned out and I thought I would put them up just in time here for our national holiday to enjoy.
I will be taking some time off this weekend to spend with my family. I will be back to normal work hours on Tuesday. Just wanted to let my blog readers know in case I am not able to return your calls or e-mails as quickly as usual in the next few days.
Happy holidays everyone!!!

Outdoor Photo Session
I had a session outdoors with this sweet little man. I think he enjoyed a different change of scenery compared to my studio.
There were plenty of yummy tasting sticks and leafs to enjoy during this session.
If you reading this blog would like some beautiful outdoor portraits of your family please contact me to set up your session
(225 284-6354 Anna-Karin’s photography). Right now due to the very hot weather in S. Louisiana the sessions tends to take place either very early in the morning or early evening when the light is more cooperative.
