Well I am finally all back online again. There was about four days with either part or all of my website not available. This including my e-mails etc. Anyway, if you had trouble getting in touch with me, please let me know.

Now when I have all that taken care of I want to share with you a beautiful little girl. Sweet little B had recently turned one years old and just learned to walk. She lives out of state but her grandparents lives here in Baton Rouge. Little B’s grandmother hired me to come and photograph her at their house while they were in town visiting. They have a special chair that has been in the family for a long time. One of their traditions is to photograph all the children in their christening gown with this chair.

I dont know how long back this tradition goes, but I saw photographs of B’s mom on the very same chair in her christening gown. So at least for one generation so far.
I think it is a wonderful traditition and the chair is still holding up. Maybe this chair will even survive it for years to come and little B can use it to photograph her future children on the chair.

Anna-Karin I always love your work and these are no exception. The tutu shots, particularly the last one, are just precious!
Oh wow..these are so darling! I love the long dress shot!
What a beautiful little girl AK! Love these shots!
Anna-Karin, these are beautiful, and your blog header is just fabulous as well!!
Oh my, these are just gorgeous. Adore the tutu, but the one on the chair, now that is seriously beautiful
Oh, AK! The christening gown in the chair image is simply stunning and I’m still giggling over the last tutu one.
Anna, These pictures are so great. Love the tutu and the little girl on the chair is amazing. you do such amazing work…so glad to have you documenting our little one:)
I’m “sweet little B’s” mom and I just have to say we couldn’t have been more pleased with the pictures AK took that day. All day I just kept thinking we’d NEVER get a good shot – B was squirming, running, squealing, pouting… but AK managed to capture that one fleeting second where she was looking and (often) smiling. We can’t wait to bring our son down for another family session. Thanks AK!!
AK, you did a wonderful job of capturing those fleeting photogenic moments of our precious little B. I can’t wait to put B’s christening portrait on the wall next to my daughter’s in the same chair. This is only the second generation of the chair and maybe with some care, it will last into the next.
Thanks for this beautiful continuation of the tradition.
