Mommy’s Little Helper-Behind the Scenes Out-Takes
Sometimes during my photo sessions the little ones are not as interested to have their photographs taken. At this time you will probably hear me or the parents make funny sounds or squeaks or other noise in order to get the child’s attention. It works most of the time, but once in a while I will have a little client that is not interested.
This was the case during this photo session. Thankfully my son was actually at the studio during this session. He gladly came to our rescue and became mommy’s little helper. His job was to sit next to little C and keep him entertained while I was photographing him. In this photograph my son is actually pointing to me and telling little C to look at me.
Here are the outtakes from that session and you will see what my son had to do.
It worked out great as little C loved to hang with my son and thus I got the photographs we were hoping for.
I think I owe my son some icecream or hotwheel cars in exchange for his labor that day, lol.
Little C was happy as can be and here is one of the keepers.

Awww. . . so helpful and sweet! So neat that you have a really “family friendly” business! Yes, hotwheels and some icecream, I think!
aww! how great that you had a helper! That last one is certainly worth the hard work
Awwww, your son was such a trooper, what a good boy for helping out so much. Definitely worth the effort.
Hahahahahaha! Loved these, how awesome to share them all with us!
I love your site, you are quite talented!! I especially enjoyed this one, it’s nice to see other photographers deal with this type of thing! I am wondering what type of softbox? you use? It looks humongous! If you don’t mind sharing, what type of lights do you use the most? Your artificial light pictures are outstanding!
Thank you!
