Little Baby Bear

Meet adorable little C. He was born at 27 weeks of gestation, and was therefore 13 weeks premature. He spent 11 weeks or 80 days in the NICU with his parents watching over him.

He was a little fighter and grew and did so well, even though he was born so early. Once he was released from the hospital he came to me for a newborn photo session. Even though he was a preemie baby and a couple of months old already at the time of our session , he was acting just like a typical newborn baby. Except that his belly button had already healed long before his session!

Little C joined my photographic baby plan and I am so looking forward to see him again next time when he can sit up on his own.The baby plan is a great way to make sure your child’s first and fast fleeting milestones are well documented. Studio Move and Moving Sale- Baton Rouge, Denham Springs Photographer

I have some news to share. I have moved my photo studio, Anna-Karin’s Photography  from Baton Rouge to the Antique District in Denham Springs. My new studio is twice the size of the old one and have many more options for shooting sessions. The new studio building is older and quaint , from the 1920’s. The new studio address is 123 North Range Avenue, Denham Springs, LA 70726.  I am still getting situated in the new studio but have already shot a few sessions there. Love to have you come see me and bring your beautiful children along for a new photo session to document their growing stages.

With this move I have been a bit delayed in the blogging but am hoping to get right back to that in the next few days. I have many beautiful sessions I still want to share!

Now to the special news. With the move and reorganizations of my stuff at the studio, I have decided to hold a one time moving sale of old digital files (negatives)  from your completed sessions with me. These files available are from sessions that took place prior to September of 2010. If you would like to own your files for safe keeping and documenting then contact me. The full resolution files are available for $250.00 per session on disc. Again these must be from completed sessions. The files are as is, but are full resolution where you can print from. Here is a session I want to share of two very sweet and beautiful sisters. The session was actually for little sister T and this was her “sitting up” session on my baby plan.

Olders sister M came along to the session, she used to also be on my baby plan when she was a baby. It was so nice to see the sweet relation ship between these two girls and how close they already are.

With LSU going back to school this past week I just realized I forgot to blog this beautiful LSU senior that graduated this past spring. So better late then never, here is the beautiful new graduate Ms. A.

Mr. Smiley!

Here is a lovely outdoor on location photo session I want to share with you. It is of handsome little J! He was about 2.5yrs old at the time of his session and we had a great and fun time together.

Little J used to be on my babyplan in his first year of life and it is always a treat for me to get to see my former babyplanners again and see how much they have changed since the last time I photographed them. Little J had really changed, his hair was all blonde now versus when he was in his first year it was brown. He is a big boy now that talks very well and had some great stories to tell me during our photo session.

 

Little J had the most contagious smile. When looking at these beautiful photographs I get full smile from seeing him so happy and so sweet.

The Little Artist!

His beautiful mama joined in on a few photographs as well, and I love to capture some of parents and children together. As a mom I know how common it is that mom’s are usually the one holding the camera and don’t get a chance to get many photographs of them selves with their children. So I like to try to make sure we can at least get  few of the parents if possible during the session, so both the child has this to remember when older but also for the parents.

Here is  little M, a cute baby boy I recently photographed. He was about seven months at the time of his session and had manouvered the skill of sitting up very well.
