Alert little one!

Here is a great session of a little baby boy and his older brother that came to my Baton Rouge photo studio for a session.

It was a fun session and even though a busy toddler was on hand, he even cooperated and I got many beautiful captures  of both boys for their parents.

Meet beautiful little M and her parents. This was from an outdoor on location professional photo session at a plantation in Baton Rouge.

It was a beautiful day and little M was very happy to be outside.

It was fun to see her interaction with both her parents as well.

In my Mama's hands

Here is adorable baby C. Here are a few from his newborn photo session at my Baton Rouge studio.

Wide Awake Newborn!

He was such a good little baby boy and very alert!

Probably because his older sister came along to the session and maybe he was very curious about what she was getting into.

Little C is probably going to be tall like his dad, look at these long little legs!

Little C is also a member of my babyplan. Which means that I will get to photograph him four times through out his first year in life. I can’t wait to see how much he will change from his newborn session to when he is an active toddler.

The baby plan is a great option to make sure your childs fast fleeting milestones are documented well. Before we know it he will be a busy little boy running every where!

Baby K

Meet adorable baby K. This was from her four month session. She was doing such a good job holding up her head on her own and was giving me the biggest smiles.

Her older sister came along and you could see the sweet sisterly bond between them.

Sweet Sisters

Here are two sweet sisters that I had the pleasure to photograph.  It was for little sisters newborn session . She was a little older then what I tend to photograph for newborn portraits, but we still captured many beautiful photographs  of this stage of her life and she was actually very cooperative even though  a little bit older.

It was so sweet to see big sister loving  and caring for her new little baby sister.

"A Streetcar named Desire" from New Orleans

Once again I am participating with many of my photographer colleagues around the world in a blog carnival. We are planning on doing these on a regular basis, to stretch ourselves creatively and to remember to shoot something for our own imagination and just for fun. This can sometimes be hard to find the time to do when running busy photography businesses. So by participating in this blog carnival with other professional child photographers on a regular basis, we are making sure there is a little bit of time for our self and to have a creative outlet.

This month the challenge is alternative camera. I chose my alternative camera to be my iPhone. I use it all the time for quick on the go shots when I want to document something but did not bring my real camera with me. I am sharing a handful of my iPhone images in this blog post.
