Still No Internet……

Ugh…. I am posting this to let all of you know that are waiting for either e-mail correspondence from me or to view and approve proofs that I am still without internet. Yesterday was the day when Cox finally came to set it up at our renovated house. Unfortunately they left us with a defective modem so we still can not access the internet there. Hence why this post is without images as I am typing away at the library where I am accessing my mail right now. We have been promised that the cable company is suppose to come and fix this asap, which we are really hoping means tomorrow the latest. Anyway, just wanted to give a little update to the unfortunate situation.

Holiday Girl

Here is one more pretty little girl I wanted to show while we are still close to the holidays.

She had the most prettiest outfits and had so much fun modeling in front of the camera for me.

This was the second time I had the opportunity to photograph this little girl. First time was about a year ago and she has grown and matured so much since then.

Enjoy sweet and pretty little M. I hope all of you had a wonderful and relaxing time during these past couple of days.

Merry Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas to all my clients and friends. This year has gone by so fast and my business has again grown by leaps and bounds. It has been a wonderful year with lots of new clients and children that I have had the pleasure to work with.

There has been a couple of instances that affected my business. Those two were when I suddenly lost my dad and had to go to Sweden to tend to that and then when barely back home four weeks later, our home was severly damaged due to hurricane Gustav and we had to quickly move out of our house. Those of you that were waiting for your prints or proofs during that time, or that were willing to postpone your sessions until I was back at work again. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the patience and kind comments I received from many of you. This truly made me realize how blessed I am to work with so many wonderful and supporting families. I could not ask for a better job and better clients. THANK YOU ALL for making 2008 another great year for my business.

Here are a couple of holiday babies that I have recently photographed and I thought it was very appropriate to share them on my blog at this time.

First Time for Professional Photographs

Meet sweet and handsome little W. He came to me when he was around 5 months. This was his first professional photographs taken and I can only say by showing these that I know his parents were thrilled with what we got.

Little W was so sweet and easy going. I think he smiled most the time during our session.

His parents made some great choices for their print order and of this one they ordered a wall portrait in canvas. When I opened it up when it arrived from the lab it made me gasp as it was so gorgeous and showcased his pretty blue eyes. It was a perfect choice for a canvas print.

We are very close to the holidays. If you have not yet picked up your print order, call me (Anna-Karin 225-284-6354) to do so.

Me and my family have now been able to move back to our house that was damaged during the hurricane. However we are still in boxes and at this point only know where half our things are, but we are back home in time for the holiday and that is what matters. Anyway, we still don’t have internet access at the house. For what ever reason, it takes for ever to set up even though in this day and age of technology one would think it would be an easy transfer. As of now it looks like we should have internet by December 29th. That is at least what they are telling me as of now. So if you are waiting for online proofs or communication by e-mail, I am trying as fast as I can to get these to you, but without internet on a regular basis this is a bit tricky. So while you are waiting, I appreciate your patience during this transition when my family is moving back home to our house. Please call me instead, as of now I only have limited access to internet and checking e-mail.

Twin Sisters

Here are two cute little sisters I recently photographed. We had a fun session and mom was so prepared and even brought beautiful fresh tulips along to our session.

That was such a treat as there are not that many flowers blooming during this time of year.

These two sisters are a couple months shy of three years old. It was a little bit chilly the morning of our session. However once they both warmed up to me and to the temperature I managed to capture many beautiful moments for their family.

Sweet Little Girl

Here is another sweet little girl I have recently photographed. This is little E, she is on my baby plan. She is always in a great mood and all full of smiles. A true joy to work with.

I know her parents loved them just as much as I did. This was from little E’s eight month session. This is such a perfect age. She was happy but could not yet crawl and take off from us.

It was very hard to choose which ones to share this time as there were so many great ones.
