Family portrait photographer Baton Rouge

Here is a great family session!  Oldest brother lives away for college and when home for a visit his family wanted to take advantage of getting an updated family portrait done.

It was a fun time,  and we ventured down town Baton Rouge for this session.

I even had the chance to recreate a photo of the boys and their dad from a similar one that they had done many years ago when they were little. It is always so much fun when my clients have an idea in mind and tells me about that.

Little M is on my baby plan and this was from his four month session. He was at such a great age and happy the whole time of his session!

At the time of this session little M was also being baptised and had several of his extended family come to visit for that special event. They all came along to the session and it was great to meet them and to see them all love on little baby M. I was able to capture them all together with little M.

He had his grandparents both from Canada and Louisiana there. Also his great grand parents came a long way as well, they traveled all the way from Chicago. It was very nice to see all those generations involved with little M and being part of his photo session.

I really enjoyed spending time with them during the session and to see them together with their little grand baby. Here are just a few of the many beautiful photographs from this session.

Meet beautiful little baby I. She is a member of my baby plan and this was from her 5 months session.

I have had the pleasure to work with I’s family before, she has two older brothers that also used to be on my baby plan during their first year in life. It is so much fun to have followed her family as they have grown over the past 6.5 yrs. Her oldest brothers was one of Anna-Karin’s Photography first baby planners. It is so great to work with their family again and that I get the chance to capture their beautiful little baby girl. So now it is time for their little sister to be featured in the lime light!

Little I was so great at her session and so alert. I also will admit her mom is an awesome helper to get her children to participate and get great expressions when I photograph them. She has always been a great helper and I often joke to her that I need her as my assistant with all my sessions. She is great as you can see based on adorable baby I’s expressions in these photographs!

Cotton Field- Plantation Photo Session- Children & Family Photographer Baton Rouge

Beautiful plantation photo session- Rural Life Museum Baton Rouge, gorgeous sibling photographs

I have been meaning to share this beautiful session for a while and now is the time!. This was from a great session with a sister and her little brother.

This was the second time I have worked with this family. It was great to work with them again, and get to capture their beautiful children as they grow and change. Many of my clients come back to me years after years. It is the best compliment I can ask for. It is so nice to see them again and that my clients like my work enough that they want me to capture their children again.

The kids were actually really good during the session. Big sister was very protective and helpful in getting little brother to participate.

When we decided on where to have the session, mom of these two sweet kids wanted to have the old Louisiana plantation feel. Because of that we choose to use the Rural Life Museum that was a perfect place to create that feel that this family were hoping for.

I had so many beautiful photographs to share from this session it was hard to narrow down. These are still just a fraction of the many beautiful portraits their parents purchased from this session. As a matter of fact they loved them all so much that they chose to purchase my digital package so they could have all the files for their safe keeping.

Meet this absolutely adorable and happy little girl. She is a baby planner of mine and this was from her sitting up session.

Along to the session her parents also brought her lovable German Shepherd dog Phantom. It is clear that Phantom is a huge part of their family and it was important to get a few photographs of her as well.
