This was little sisters first professional photographs and they came to my studio in Baton Rouge for their photo session.
 Sleepy Baby Girl Along came big brother who was as sweet as can be and really liked to dress up . He looked very handsome in his jacket and hat.

 Handsome Little Man! I was also able to get some beautiful photographs of mom and her little ones. I try to always make sure we can get mom included in at least one photograph. As moms are usually the ones to always take the photos and are not documented as often with their children.

Two Beautiful Sisters! Here is an adorable session I photographed with two beautiful sisters a little while ago I want to share.
Peek A Boo! We had the photo session outside on location. It was such a fun session. With little sister being as adorable as can be and older sister taking such good care of her little sister.
Sweet Little Sister It was very sweet indeed to see their relationship during our fun session. Big sister so lovingly cared for little sister through out our photo session.

Once again I am participating with many of my photographer colleagues around the world in a blog carnival. We are planning on doing these on a regular basis, about once a month to stretch ourselves creatively and to remember to shoot something for our own imagination and just for fun. This can sometimes be hard to find the time to do when running busy photography businesses. So by participating in this blog carnival about once a month we are making sure there is a little bit of time for our self and to have a creative outlet.
This month the challenge is the color Yellow.
Yellow Leafs and Beautiful Fall colors The colors of yellow in the autumn colors comes later for us down here in the deep south then it does to the northern parts of this country. Hence the reason I am choosing to use this beautiful portrait from last fall that show cases the color yellow in the leafs. This sweet boy was a baby planner of mine and this was from his one year session outside. He had a fun time playing with the leafs during our photosession in Baton Rouge.

Here is a wedding with a special couple that I had the honor to photograph this summer that I want to share. The couple are previous clients of mine as I photographed their daughters newborn session last fall.
I don’t photograph that many weddings any more as I used to years ago. I still have children that are fairly young and I want to be available for them more during weekends, but this time it was fun to make an exception as I already knew this couple.
Mr. & Mrs. Dodson! This couple had a beautiful wedding and their little girl was part of the big celebration as well.

Twin Brothers
Here are two adorable and sweet twin boys that I recently photographed for their seven month session at my Baton Rouge photography studio. These adorable brother’s are members of my baby plan where I will photograph them for four sessions through out their first milestones in their life. This studio photo session was for their sitting up session.
Happy Baby Boy! It was so fun to see how much they had changed since their newborn session. Now they were all full of expressions and smiles and could sit up all on their own.

Also it was very clear that even though they are twin brothers, they are two different personalities and it shows in their photographs. One of the boys was a little bit more outgoing and the other a little bit more shy during our photo session. I can’t wait to see if that will have changed for their next photo session at one years old.

The boys mom was the one that brought the twins to their photo session, and I was able to get a capture of her with her sweet twin boys. She really has become quite the super mom that can handle to multi task and tend to her multiples very easily now. I was impressed!

Classic Little Beauty! Here is a session I have been wanting to share for a while. My recent photo studio relocation of Anna-Karin’s Photography to Denham Springs Antique District has gotten me side tracked a bit in the blogging dept. Better late then never…. Here is little C. This was from her one year photo session. She was on my babyplan during her first year and this was the last session of the plan and we decided to have her one year baby plan photo session outside.
Sweet Baby C It was success and this sweet little girl really loved being outside for the session. She was all full of many natural and lovely smiles, which made the end result of the portraits just perfect.
Along to the session also came her big brother and parents. I got a couple of lovely captures of all of them together as well.

Of course we had to end the session with a big cake smash to celebrate C milestone first birthday.
Hi Mommy! Actually on this particular session a childhood friend of mine from Sweden was here visiting and came along to see me work. She captured this photo of me and C’s mom at the end of the session when little C is devouring the birthday smash cake baked from my friend Ashley. Let me know if you want her information for wonderful and tasty eggless cakes perfect for children.
Birthday Girl! Anyway it was fun for a change to see me captured while working, as I am pretty much always the one behind the lens lol.
